History

After graduating from Carrollton HS (Saginaw Michigan) in 1970, I started college with the intention of being a teacher and coach. After getting my AA in Pre-Education(1973), I decided to make a bold move and change to either Accounting or IT.

After taking a course in each disipline, I chose IT/Business and moved in that direction, getting my ABS in 1978 from Delta and then my bachelors (BBA) from Northwood in 1980 while working fulltime. This was getting into the "ground floor IT" at the time.

In 2003, I went back to CMU to complete a Masters in IT Resource Management (2005).

While in school, I learned to program in RPG, Assembler, Cobol, and PL/I on IBM 360 and 370 mainframe platforms, Systems Analysis and Design, Business Administration, Project Management, and IT Resource Management.
